The OLX wardrobe problem: they're impossible to inspect meaningfully through photos. Internal shelving, drawer slides, and hinge condition are never shown. You only discover the wardrobe smells of mould when it arrives.
Sliding vs Hinged - Which to Buy Second Hand
- Sliding doors: Check the track - debris or worn rollers cause doors to jump. Easy to fix (Rs 200-500 for roller replacement) but worth flagging before buying.
- Hinged doors: Check all hinges are tight and doors close flush. Sag is hard to reverse on engineered wood.
- Mirror panels: Any chips or silver deterioration at the edges? That's permanent.
